The Busan Finance Center held a symposium to discuss the achievements and challenges of the 15th anniversary of Busan's designation as a financial hub specializing in maritime and derivative finance. The symposium discussed innovative policies to develop Busan into a global financial hub, including the designation of a financial special zone, attracting policy financial institutions, and establishing a digital asset exchange. In particular, President Myongho Rhee stated that the Busan Finance Center would support the creation of a Busan financial hub through leading research and active domestic and international promotional activities, and expressed gratitude for the participation of the Lord Mayor Of London at City of London Corporation in the keynote speech, noting that the support of the City of London Corporation provided an opportunity to further strengthen Busan's international standing.
