On April 21, 2026, Busan Finance Center (BFC) held a meeting on the ASEAN+3 Digital Bond Market Forum (DBMF) at BIFC 63 D-Space.

The meeting was attended by Heo Gyu-man, an Asian Development Bank (ADB) secondee and senior official from the Financial Supervisory Service, and Yoon Dong-jin, and Ha-young Kim, an Officer of Busan Metropolitan City. Participants discussed the potential hosting of an ASEAN+3 Digital Bond Market Forum meeting in Busan.

The discussion also covered recent ASEAN+3 financial cooperation initiatives, agenda items under discussion between ADB and member countries, including the Asian Bond Markets Initiative (ABMI), the Digital Bond Market Forum, and voluntary carbon markets, as well as possible support measures for hosting the meeting in Busan.
