On April 2, 2026, Busan Finance Center (BFC) hosted the 17th Busan Financial Hub Forum from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The forum brought together approximately 30 participants, including representatives from policy institutions, financial institutions, academia, and industry experts. The forum covered key issues related to Busan’s development as a financial hub, including a comparative study of financial regulations in Korea and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the current status of Korean shipping companies, and preparations for the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC) in Busan.

Through the forum, BFC provided a platform for policy discussion and expert exchange on practical strategies to strengthen Busan’s role as an international financial center.
