During Session 02 of the online Maritime Conference held as part of the 2025 Ocean Week, Mr. Lee Dong-hae, Director of the Maritime Finance Center at the Busan Finance Center, delivered a keynote presentation on strategies to promote ship finance in the private financial sector.

As key measures, he proposed the development of KRW-denominated ship finance and the introduction of green ship tax lease schemes as effective tools to revitalize private-sector investment in maritime assets.
